Ojamas

Awesome Xmas here in Philly, I now have a'tofu is your friend' shirt, green ipod nano, new lens, out board flash, some...stuff AND OJAMAS. The official Barack Obama pj's.

They did only come today, but y'know. I just danced down the road (it was empty) wearing them, pink slippers and John's red santa cowboy hat and waving a giant candy cane. It was awesome. Mark videoed it =) Geez I can't spell...huh.

I went riding. Western style! Awesome, on the way back me and El stopped at the Peter Wentz Farmstead for lunch. Well we stayed in the parking lot then wandered to find some 'restrooms' so y'know.

So my day has been pretty awesome. Vegan oreos & vegan carrot (parsnip actually...) cake = <3

Merry Xmas!

Whoop! Merry Xmas from Philly! Enjoy and everything...

No plans as of yet for today. I have new converse. They're awesome! Mark came last night, Sarah got to Wisconsin and so isn't here with us in Frillydelphea. New spelling, awesome huh?

Probably go for a walk someplace with Pretzel or something. Tomorrow I'm hopefully going Western riding. I've been twice before, those saddles are so darn comfy! I'm watching Willow (the evil but nice if you feed her) kitty and listening to NPR (national public radio, well we're listening to WHYY)

Have a good one guys =)

Christmas Eve Already? Geez...

This year has come as fast as a duck being sexually abused by a chicken. Very fast.

Its 7:20 am, I've had my cardboard breakfast with yummy vanilla soya milk and I'm waiting for everyone else to get their butts outta bed. I slept all last night, until 6:30 anyway. Which is pretty good really. I did go to bed at 10:30 which felt like 3:30am. And I'm not a morning person.

Before beddy time we made cookies. its really strange making cookies at 10, but making cookies at 3am is just WRONG.

Okay, so its christmas eve. Somehow I've gotten everyone a present. So its pretty darn good. Gonna be raining here today more than likely, already started over Independance Mall. We have to go to Whole Foods and pick up our awesome carrot cake, vegan oreos, vegan muffins and maybe some tofu turkey or tofu chicken nuggets. TOFU chicken nuggets are AMAZING. I had them the day before my uncle's wedding when we were in Brooklyn last September. Yum, vanilla.

Mark is coming later this evening, dunno if Sarah is coming too. She was supposed to be going to her parents in Wisconsin but her flight may or may not be cancelled.

Smells like El is making pancakes, ought to help instead of being on my laptop...eek.

Welcome To America

Well I'm in Philly. Actually, I was here yesterday and just couldn't be bothered to post. I'm sure your very sad for this delayed blog. So this is gonna be super-duper long! YAY!!

Got up at 6:30, hardly slept night before. Didn't sleep in the taxi to Heathrow because the driver was really chatty. Mile a second...Talked about completely randome stuff too. Got there really early, my gran rang up just as we were lining up for 'fast check in' ("never more than one person in front of you" there was 4.) to ask if we were there because there'd been some huge prang on the M25 that blocked most of it. We missed it. It was awesome.

Got through security fine, just dandy in fact. Terminal 5 isn't that bad actually. It has these cool flashing light things that are awesome. I'd have taken a picture but there was lots of guys with guns walking round and I didn't feel like being shot. We had coffee and waited for our gate number to come up and read the Guardian becasue we're posh gits.

On some duty free wandering we found ourselves in the first class lounge - we left very fast. Carpet was real soft in there though...and had pretty patterns. There was also this amazing sculpture on the escalator up. it was some sort of oval ish thing and was covered in black circles that flipped over to show a mirror side. They flipped in different patterns, pretty! Also found the accesible help desk. When I travel by myself they'll guide me to the gate - the joys of being VI.

I got searched when I handed in my boarding pass. I wasn't the only one - some woman looked through my bag. She even flicked through my book (A Hat Full Of Sky - Terry Pratchett) and made me open my laptop up. She also frisked me...huh.

Our plane was miles out so we had to get buses, they had the doors half shut when we actually got there. Two people had also 'decided' not to fly with BA and luggage was being removed for security reasons. Force was involved I think...

Flight felt so long, was 71/2 hours so I guess it was long. But I couldn't sleep for ages because it was afternoon. I managed to get an hour in before my iPod died. Also watched Creature Comforts, end bit of Dark Knight and listened to backstage with flight of the concords. Geez, that was freaking funny! Wind was pretty high, got up to 179mph and our landing was a bit fucked. We lost a lot of height very fast. And jolted around a lot. Didn't miss the runway though, so it was fine.

American security guys are really grumpy. In Philly anyway. The ones in NY are really awesome and joke around. Hah, we had the guy called Curto. I had to pay $3 for our trolley because no one else had $1 bills. So I'm owed 3 bucks. Whoop. When we got out the airport, complete with all luggage and a grandparent it was -4C and very iced over. We also got on the wrong side of the highway and headed towards Delaware for a bit.

Yesterday was pretty boring. Just sitting round, eating sushi for dinner. Stuff like that. Today I went down to Murray's and got fresh bagels. Was -8, but I had a grandma and a dog (and coats) for warmth. And moral support of course. Pretzel is a pound dog, mostly collie x GSD I think. She's pretty, but built like a bear compared to Bala. She's square anyway. Nothing against her though. Made mince pies too then headed out to hit the THRIFT STORES. And 'party land'. Heh. Shit shop that is. Spent this afternoon walking thorugh West Laurel Cemetery and teaching Emma the wonders of actually USING flickr.

She has a pro account now. Worship me for the $24 spent on keeping flickr alive. Hell yes.

Dinner now, wow its only 5:30? Strange...need to go to Whole Foods tomorrow to buy food, make peanut butter and to pick up our vegan carrot cake with 3 inches of icing. Mark (the indie uncle who's gonna be a DADDY!!) is coming up tomorrow night, possibly with his wife Sarah.

Gotta go, dinner smells good.

Almost There...

Well not really. 3000 or so more miles.

But we've started out towards Philly. We're still in the UK - I'm actually sitting in my bedroom at my grandparent's house in St Albans. So y'know...

Flight leaves at 11:15am tomorrow from Heathrow terminal 5 (hope the baggage system works now...) and our taxi comes at 7:30. So 6:30 start - whoop!

Good thing is that I've opened nearly all of my presents now, I got $30 from my grandparents here, chocolate, coloured pencils, a notebook and my great great grandma's silver bracelet. its awesome and shiny!

Need to sleep, stupid early starts for stupid morning flights...rawr.

Oh My Carlisle!

Just seen Twilight!

Nothing like the book. But as a film - it was pretty awesome. Guardian gave it 4/5 stars. As did I =D Was really funny sitting next to Danni. Geez, she sure can make me giggle. She has an obsession with Edward. I like all the Cullens. Especially Bella once she's a vampire...

We all screamed at the credits. And when they kissed. I screamed for Alice and Jasper because I loves them. And Emett. But not Rosalie because she's a bitch.

Well, night night! Way fun going cinema - BRAP MATE!

:P Chav quote of the day...

For The Heck Of Updating...

I"ve decided to tell you guys all about my life as of now. And anything that I feel like typing because I'm bored as heck.

Firstly - if you want to read my story. Go HERE -> http://www.ficwad.com/story/113751 Its romantic, boy on boy with possible SMUT. Go lick it. It tastes good XP I'm still doing Ch5. So won't be up for a while. I've had 1 review. So I feel special! <3

Jeremy and Frankie are my characters and obey me. In my mind...I'm not weird at all...

Tomorrow is the last day of term, and we finish at lunch. So today we did jack all mostly. In Maths we were supposed to be evaluating our tests but she left them at home. So we got to mess around on the departmental laptops (always wanted to say that - sorry XD). Moi et Raquelle watched MSI, A7X, Tigerpicks and Daft Punk on youtube. Cos we're amazing.

English was really strange. We were watching some dodgy movie which was 'based' on Weathering Heights. ((we're doing coursework on weathering heights)) but is mostly a load of made up cow poop. And the female lead got raped when she was 12 and her best friend didn't notice she was pregnant! 0.0 and her 'sister' is her daughter. But she didn't say who had raped her for ages so Danni goes "She's the VIRGIN MARY!" really loudly. I almost choked on my Mars Planets XD

Basically its incest, rape and violence mixed into a nice combination of twat and bastard. No idea what its called anyway.

Also had an assembly for our principal leaving. No one likes her though. So me and Danni were singing 'we wish a crappy future' because she goes on about how shes gonna have an AMAZING TIME IN DORSET. Whatever. You toad/frog hybrid.

We watched Back To The Future 3 in History because it reflects the myth and reality of cowboys in the American West. Of course.

Going to see Twilight tomorrow. It only comes oout tomorrow, but we've booked tickets so its good =D Gonna be full of squealing teens. I'm gonna be SQUEEING. not squealing. So there. I've written 'team edward' on shirts for people with sharpies. Need to do that now really...

But facebook is so addictive!

RAWR.

8 Days...

Til we go to Philadelphia. Whoot! Yup - I'm a nerd. I've been counting the days, but heck - its fun.

I haven't been to Philly with my new camera yet, so its gonna be pretty awesome. Lots of pictures of Prezel & Willow and the awesomeness of the suburbs XD You love it really...

On Monday I'm getting a purple streak in my finge =D Well, plum. But y'know.

I'm writing a mega story. It has 4 chapters so far and involves characters that I made up for my English coursework called Jeremy Totoro and Frankie Waythorn.

Smut insues.
